Sandra Artalejo's illustrative work has ranged from the fashion world to print industries.
After a start as fashion section editor for the San Antonio Express-News, where she not only designed the look of the weekly section but also created the illustrations for it,
Artalejo then moved on to the fashion world, where her illustrations formed the bases for designer lines that were put into production.

Her illustrative work has been recognized with awards including first place honors in competition by Texas Presswomen and National Presswomen.
She also has produced the artwork for the JCPenney Hispanic Model Search.
