Sandra Artalejo currently is working on a series of bilingual children's books inspired by her daughter Francesca that capture the multicultural experience that is today's America. The books highlight the adventures of Chulita and her single mom, as well as a cast of colorful characters, and offer recipes, language lessons and insights into the problems children face in a challenging world.
